I often get asked by my readers why I don’t write more about natural products. I must admit that I often feel a bit guilty, especially because I often get sent natural products to review but they simply don’t amaze me enough to warrant a post of their own. That certainly isn’t the case of today’s TOP product since I fell in love with it after just a couple days of use.
Dekleta me pogosto sprašujete, zakaj večkrat ne pišem o naravnih izdelkih. Priznam, tudi sama se dostikrat počutim krivo, sploh zato, ker kar precej naravnih izdelkov dobim v last za testiranje, vendar pa me le redko navdušijo do te mere, da o njih pišem. V primeru današnjega TOP izdelka pa je zgodba malce drugačna, saj sem se v njega zaljubila že po nekaj dneh uporabe.
In April, I visited the Love Beauty Forum in Ljubljana and had a little chat with the nice representatives of Mirta natural cosmetics. They also provided me with a few samples, including their two deodorants with eucalyptus and lavender – first one being a bit too fragrant for my liking but the lavender one just perfect. The 10ml sample was more than enough for me to use for more than two weeks and by the time I hit the bottom I was sure that I absolutely needed to buy this product. Since I gave birth about a year ago, I tried more than ten different deodorants but none of them worked as it should which really stressed me out a lot.
Na sejmu Love Beauty, ki je v aprilu potekal v Ljubljani, sem na stojnici Mirta naravne kozmetike spregovorila nekaj besed s predstavnicami in dobila tudi nekaj vzorčkov, med drugim vzorček sivkinega in evkaliptusovega deodoranta. Evkaliptusov mi je bil po vonju nekoliko premočan, zato sem do konca porabila vzorec sivkinega deodoranta – 10 ml vzorčka mi je zadoščalo za več kot dva tedna uporabe! Ko je bil lonček skorajda prazen, je bila odločitev na dlani – to je izdelek, ki ga vsekakor moram imeti. V zadnjem letu od poroda sem preizkusila kakšnih deset različnih deodorantov, vendar pa so me pogosto pustili na cedilu, kar je resnično neprijetno.
I placed my order on Mirta.si website and two days later, I already received my deodorant, packaged nice and neatly with a few extra samples kindly sent along with my order. I’m always in a good mood when I receive such nice packages.
Na spletni strani Mirta.si sem oddala naročilo in že dva dni kasneje je bil izdelek pri meni, lepo in varno pakiran, zraven pa je bilo prijazno priloženih še nekaj novih testerjev, o katerih ti bom najbrž prav tako poročala. Mene vedno razveselijo tako lični paketki, pa tebe?
The deodorant is packaged in a pot which doesn’t bother me much with natural products since they don’t include active ingredients that would lose their potency because of exposure to air. It contains the lavender essential oil, shea and coconut butter, bicarbonate and glycerin. The latter is intended to keep moisture locked in the skin and improve the smoothness of the product. The texture of deodorant is a bit grainy but I didn’t feel any discomfort or irritation under my armpits. I like that it absorbs really quickly and leaves absolutely no stains on the clothes.
Deodorant je pakiran v lončku, kar me pri naravnih izdelkih ne moti preveč, saj nimajo aktivnih učinkovin, ki bi na ta način izgubljale svojo moč. Vsebuje eterično olje sivke, karitejevo in kokosovo maslo, sodo bikarbono in glicerin. Slednji je namenjen predvsem ohranjanju vlage in povečevanju gladkosti. Tekstura deodoranta je nekoliko zrnasta, vendar draženja ali neprijetnega občutka pod pazduho zaradi tega nisem zaznala. Všeč mi je, da se hitro vpije v kožo in ne pušča popolnoma nobenih madežev na oblačilih.
Best of all, this deodorant does what it promises to do. It keeps me protected for whole 24 hours – meaning from one shower to the next. The fragrance is barely there which means I can wear whatever perfume I want to and the scents don’t get mixed up. I also find the price very reasonable – 11,50 € for 50ml (to compare: 50ml L’Occitane deodorant goes for 16,80€, Glina.si natural deodorant for 11,95€ for 25g) which will be enough for about two months of use.
In najboljše od vsega? To je prvi deodorant, ki resnično deluje, kot obljublja in nevtralizira vonj za celih 24 ur – zame to pomeni od enega tuširanja do naslednjega. Vonj je zelo nežen, komajda opazen, kar pomeni, da lahko zraven kombiniram kateri koli parfum in se vonji ne mešajo. Tudi cena je zelo razumna – 11,50 € za 50ml (za primerjavo: 50ml L’Occitane deodoranta stane 16,80 €, Glina.si deodoranta 11,95 € za 25g), kar mi bo verjetno zadoščalo za približno dva meseca uporabe.
In all, this is a product I’ve really come to love and I’m happy to recommend it if you’re still searching for that one best deodorant for yourself. I’ll be testing some more Mirta products in the future and I promise to give you an update on those as well. Until next time, stay beautiful!
