Spring favorites ***** Spomladanski naj izdelki

Even though the weather has been acting up, calendar says it’s spring so the time is ripe for me to show you the products I’ve been enjoying lately. Some have been in my collection for quite a while and some are relatively new. Naturally I’m constantly trying out new products so you can expect a lot of reviews in the following weeks, as well as an exciting giveaway.

Čeprav nam vreme malo nagaja, je pomlad koledarsko že nekaj časa tu in čas je, da ti pokažem izdelke, brez katerih to pomlad ne morem. Nekaj jih je v moji zbirki že kar nekaj časa, nekaj pa je novih pridobitev, v katerih res uživam. Seveda pa ves čas pridno testiram tudi nove izdelke, zato lahko v prihodnjih tednih pričakuješ kar nekaj objav o novostih na našem trgu, pa tudi eno lepo nagradno igro.

My skin has been enjoying L’Occitane concentrate with almond milk which I’m about to run out of. That’s not really an issue though because in the beginning of May, L’Occitane is launching a new almond concentrate with caffeine and almond proteines which promises a firmer skin – just in time for the summer. I think this is probably the fifth (or so) pot of concentrate I’ve used so far so I’ll definitely continue to repurchase it. For keeping my hair damage-free and protected from heat, I’ve been using the Charles Worthington Heat Defence Spray that is applied from the scalp to the roots of my hair before blow-dry. I wash my hair every other day and color it so it’s important to give them quality protection. After a month of use, I’ve really noticed a positive difference in the shine of my hair and less split ends and breaks.

Kožo po telesu trenutno negujem z L’Occitane koncentratom z mandljevim mlekom in lonček bo vsak čas prazen. Še dobro, kajti na police že po prvomajskih praznikih prihaja nov mandljev izboljševalni koncentrat s kofeinom in mandljevimi beljakovinami, ki obljublja bolj čvrsto in napeto kožo – ravno prav za poletje. Glede na to, da je lonček na fotografiji že kakšen peti, ki sem ga porabila v svojem življenju, bom vsekakor izdelku ostala zvesta tudi po prenovi. Za zaščito las pred toplotnimi učinki to pomlad skrbim s Charles Worthington Heat Defence sprejem, ki ga pred sušenjem las nanesem od lasišča do konic. Ker si lase umivam vsak drugi dan in imam od nedavnega ponovno barvane, mi je pomembno, da jim nudim kakovostno zaščito in po mesecu uporabe tega izdelka res opažam razliko v zmanjšanem lomljenju las in njihovem sijaju. L.O.V – Feel the Color

 

L.O.V brand has been in the Slovenian market for a while now and I’m still getting around to testing more of their products. In the past year, I was quite happy with their brow pencil which I completely used up. This year, I received a PR package full of L.O.V products which I happily tested and can now report back on. All of these products are available in Muller stores around Slovenia and other European countries.

Znamka L.O.V je na našem trgu že kar nekaj časa in sama se z veseljem spoznavam z njo. V preteklem letu me je najbolj nadušil svinčnik za obrvi, s katerim sva se družila do njegova žalostnega konca, v letošnjem letu pa sem prejela nekaj novosti, ki so na police prišle to pomlad in jih lahko najdeš v vseh Muller trgovinah po Sloveniji in v drugih državah Evrope.

Let’s start with the PERFECTitude 3in1 Prime&Fix spray (10,99€ for 50ml). This spray is enriched with coconut water which is great for locking in moisture in your skin. I used it as a primer and as a fixing spray and it definitely worked as both, although I did prefer it to fix my make-up in place. Just using this spray as a primer didn’t do much, but it did replace my Melvita rose water in my *routine* and worked very well. L.O.V gets and extra point for the pretty and elegant bottle without propellant. If you’re looking for a product that would help with moisturizing your face and extend the wear time for your make-up, I would definitely suggest this spray.

Začniva s PERFECTitude 3v1 fiksirnim sprejem za obraz (10,99 € za 50ml). Ta pravzaprav ne bi smel nositi imena “fiksirni”, saj se poleg utrditve po zaključenem ličenju lahko uporablja tudi kot podlaga za ličila ali samostojno za osvežitev obraza tekom celotnega dne. Obogaten je s kokosovo vodo, ki je odlična za zadrževanje vlage na obrazu. Sama sem ga preizkusila kot podlago za ličila in kot zaključni sprej in prav v zadnji vlogi je deloval najbolje, saj je po mojem mnenju res podaljšal obstojnost ličil. Samo sprej mi kot osnova ni bil dovolj, lahko pa je v moji rutini (oglej si jo *tu*) nadomestil Melvitino rožno vodo, ki jo nanesem pred primerjem. Dodaten plus L.O.V dobi za stekleničko, ki je lepa, elegantna in brez potisnega plina. V kolikor torej iščeš nekaj, kar bi ti pomagalo pri vlaženju kože in pri podaljševanju obstojnosti ličil, je ta sprej dobra izbira.

Among all products I tested I was most excited about the single eyeshadow (shade 351 – Merlot Divine, spring collection also includes turqoise 360 – Lagoon Escape, both 5,99€). I depot most, if not all, my single eyeshadows as soon as I find the time and place them into one of my magnetic palettes. That’s the only way I can ensure that I actually think of them and use them. I can guarantee that won’t be the case with this L.O.V eyeshadow because there’s no way I could forget about it and the packaging is great – sturdy, with compact closing and a mirror. I don’t care much for the applicator which I never use and will probably lose sooner or later. The eyeshadow is extremely pigmented. It’s a metallic formula that looks a bit different under different angles – purple, pink or even green-ish. A really unique eyeshadow that every color lover should have in her collection.

Izmed vseh izdelkov, ki sem jih preizkusila, me je daleč najbolj navdušilo enojno senčilo (v odtenku 351 – Merlot Divine, v spomladanski kolekciji lahko najdeš tudi turkizno 360 – Lagoon Escape, obe 5,99€). Nad večino mojih enojnih senčil se kaj kmalu spravim z različnimi orodji, da jih spravim ven iz njihove embalaže in dam v eno od svojih magnetnih paletk – le tako se namreč spomnim, da jih uporabljam. Z gotovostjo lahko trdim, da se tej L.O.V senčki to ne bo zgodilo, saj ne vem, kako bi nanjo lahko pozabila, pa tudi embalaža je super – trdna, z močnim zapiranjem in ogledalom. Aplikator bi zaradi mene lahko izpustili, saj ga nikoli ne uporabljam in ga bom prej kot slej izgubila. Senčilo je izjemno pigmentirano, gre pa za kovinsko formulo, ki pod različnimi koti odseva različno – včasih bolj vijolično, včasih potegne bolj na roza, včasih na zeleno. Res unikatno senčilo, ki bi si ga morala privoščiti vsaka ljubiteljica barv.

I am less impressed by the L.O.V DUALeyes 2-1 contouring eye pencil (100 – Deep Dialogue, 7,99€). The thicker side has a great shape and is very pigmented but the formulation of the product is too soft and it broke quite a few times when I was trying to create a nice liner. Beside that, keeping a sharp point is almost impossible. The thinner side which would be absolutely perfect for tightline is unfortunately not nearly as pigmented – it comes off nearly gray, rather than black so it’s barely noticeable once applied.

Nekoliko manj sem navdušena nad L.O.V DUALeyes 2-1 konturing svinčnikom za oči (100 – Deep Dialogue, 7,99€). Debelejša stran, ki je sicer super prirezana za ustvarjanje lepega linerja in močno pigmentirana, je žal za moje pojme nekoliko premehka in se mi je kar nekajkrat med nanosom zlomila. Poleg tega je ohranjanje tenko zašiljene konice skorajda nemogoče. Tanjša stran, ki bi bila perfektna za t.i. tightline (nanos na zgornjo veko med trepalnicami, ki ustvari videz gostejših trepalnic), pa je žal precej manj pigmentirana in dejansko bolj siva kot črna, zato se jo ob nanosu komajda opazi.

I also have a mixed opinion on the L.O.V. PERFECTitude Color Correcting Stick (10,99€, 010 – Even Affair, also available in a pink-purple combination in 020 – Bright Secret). The pink side meant to cover the blue in my under-eye area worked very well. The formula is quite light so I had to repeat the application and pat in the product but I don’t mind that with color correcting products because being heavy handed can quickly turn into a disaster. On the other hand I couldn’t even tell if I applied the green side of the correcting stick to my areas of redness because the color doesn’t seem to agree with my skin tone. I would recommend this color corrector if you have smaller imperfections to cover up, but if you have larger problem areas I would advise you to invest in the Catrice color correcting palette which has a more creamy and thick texture.

Tudi o L.O.V barvnem korektorju v stiku (10,99€, 010 – Even Affair, na policah lahko najdeš tudi roza-vijolično varianto v odtenku 020 – Bright Secret) imam nekoliko mešano mnenje. Roza stran, ki je namenjena prekrivanju podočnjakov, je pri meni delovala zelo dobro. Formula je res lahka, zato je treba nanos ponoviti večkrat, vendar me pri barvnih korektorjih to ne moti preveč, saj pretežka roka pri nanosu hitro izgleda precej smešno. Po drugi strani pa se zelenega korektorja, ki naj bi nevtraliziral rdečico, na mojem tenu kože skorajda ne opazi in tudi ni prekril rdečice, ki mi nagaja okrog nosu. Ta barvni korektor bi priporočila, v kolikor imaš manjše nepravilnosti, ki jih želiš zakriti, v kolikor pa so tvoje nepravilnosti bolj izrazite, bi te napotila k Catrice stojalu, kjer boš našla celo paleto kremnih barvnih korektorjev, ki so bistveno bolj prekrivni.

In the last weeks, I have tried and failed to finally get to a Muller and see the new L.O.V stand in person, because I have quite a few products on my wishlist – the new nail polish (which promise high shine up to seven days and application with a single stroke), Color&Care lip pencils and the other eyeshadow, already mentioned Lagoon Escape. I feel that I had a bit of bad luck with the products I received in this P.R. package. L.O.V is a high-end sister brand of Essence and Catrice, brands I absolutely love and always have products that work great for me so I must admit I expected a bit more from L.O.V. Consequently, it only seems fair to test out a couple more products before I firm a final opinion on the brand.

Žal mi v zadnjih tednih še ni uspelo priti do Mullerja in prenovljenega L.O.V stojala, vsekakor pa so na mojem seznamu za nakupovanje še novi laki za nohte, za katere pri L.O.V obljubljajo visoko sijoč zaključek do sedem dni in nanos z eno samo potezo, Color&Care svinčniki za ustnice ter še drugo senčilo za oči, že omenjen odtenek Lagoon Escape. Zdi se mi namreč, da sem imela z izdelki, ki sem jih prejela v temu P.R. paketu, kar nekaj smole. L.O.V je namreč višje pozicionirana sestrska znamka Essence in Catrice, znamk, ki jih imam izredno rada in pri katerih vedno najdem kaj zase, glede na cene pa bi vsaj v tem trenutku od znamke L.O.V pričakovala nekoliko več. Zato se mi zdi pošteno, da testiram še kakšen dodaten izdelek, preden oblikujem dokončno mnenje o znamki.

HAPPY B-DAY, ESSENCE!

 

Essence, my absolutely favorite drugstore brand ever, is celebrating their 15th birthday! If you know my story, I haven’t really gotten into make-up until a couple of years ago so I don’t own any »vintage« Essence myself, but when I was going through my make-up collection and picking out Essence products, there was no denying it: I truly am an Essence make-up junkie.

Essence, ki je moja daleč najljubša drogerijska znamka, letos praznuje že petnajsti rojstni dan! Če poznaš mojo zgodbo, potem veš, da sem se za make-up začela resneje zanimati šele nekaj let nazaj. Posledično nimam nobenih »vintage« Essence izdelkov, vendar pa sem ob pregledu svoje zbirke ugotovila, da se kljub temu brez težav lahko označim za Essence odvisnico.

 

When thinking about how to best congratulate Essence on reaching this milestone, I first thought about writing a poem (no joke!) but after some attempts realized that I’ve been out of high-school for too long since my rhyming wasn’t really working all that great. But I am good with words, so while you take a look at some photos of my Essence collections, you will also find A-Z attributes that remind me of the brand.

Ko sem razmišljala, kako naj Essence čestitam ob tem velikem mejniku, sem najprej pomislila, da jim napišem pesem (brez heca!), vendar pa je očitno od mojih srednješolskih dni res preteklo že kar nekaj vode in moje rime nekako ne padejo tja, kamor bi morale. Kljub temu pa še vedno rada pišem, zato lahko med naslednjimi fotografijami moje Essence kolekcije najdeš moje A-Z asociacije na blagovno znamko Essence. V slovenščini so sicer začetne črke nekoliko drugačne, vendar pa bistvo ostaja enako.

AVAILABILITY: it’s available in drugstores around the country and on various online stores (like Click2Chic and Licila.si). It’s also available in many, many countries around the world. DOSTOPNA: znamka je dostopna v drogerijah po celi Sloveniji in različnih spletnih trgovinah (kot Click2Chic in Licila.si). Dostopna je tudi v mnogih državah po svetu.

BALANCED: the price to quality ratio is probably the best you will find in any of the drugstore brands. URAVNOTEŽENA: razmerje med ceno in kakovostjo je verjetno najboljše od vseh drogerijskih znamk pri nas.

CONFIDENT: when thinking of Essence, I often think of young women trying out make-up for the first time and finding their confidence in it. SAMOZAVESTNA: ko razmišljam o znamki Essence, pogosto pomislim na mlada dekleta, ki šele začenjajo spoznavati make-up in v njem najdejo samozavest.

DESIGN: I don’t necessarily love the design of all the regular editions, but the limited editions packaging are always super fun and adventurous. DIZAJN: priznam, da nisem najbolj navdušena čisto nad vsemi embalažami iz redne kolekcije, vendar pa so embalaže pri omejenih izdajah vedno zabavne in polne domišljije.

EFFICIENT:  while I might prefer other brands in some make-up categories, I know that I could easily just own Essence products and live happily. UČINKOVITA: čeprav pri določenih kategorijah ličil raje posežem po kakšni drugi znamki, bi prav lahko živela samo z Essence izdelki in bi bila prav srečna.

FUNNY: they always amuse me with the names of their products – that’s the first thing I look at in PR materials. They also tricked me this year on April Fools Day (I will get you back!) ZABAVNA: z imeni svojih izdelkov me vedno zabavajo – pravzaprav je to prva stvar, ki jo vedno pogledam v PR materialih. Letos so me prav grdo nahecali tudi za prvi april (kar jim bom vsekakor vrnila, šminke z okusom pomfrija, pajade!)

MARK PLUMP IT LIPSTICKS REVIEW & HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BABY MARK

You know what? When one of your favorite brands comes out with a product line that carries the same name as your first born son, you don’t buy one thing. You don’t buy two things. You go on a shopping spree. I’m sure that all of you can relate to me and understand that I would buy a ton of Avon Mark products even if just to look at. But it just so happens that they are not only pretty, but the quality is there as well.

Letos sem se naučila nekaj zelo pomembnega o svoji racionalnosti in to izkušnjo bom delila s tabo. Meni zelo ljuba znamka je izdala novo linijo izdelkov. Nisem kupila ene stvari. Ali dveh. Ne, tudi treh stvari ne – kupila sem celo goro izdelkov! Prepričana sem, da bi jih ogromno kupila tudi, če bi bili le lepi na pogled, vendar pa so izdelki iz Avon Mark tudi kakovostni, poleg tega pa nosijo tudi enako ime kot moj edinec.

Today, my baby Mark is celebrating his 1st birthday. Yes, he was born on April Fools day – many people didn’t even believe us when we texted them about his arrival. So in honor of the biggest milestone in Baby M’s life so far, here is a review of 5 shades in the Mark Plump It Lipsticks range. In total, there are 15 shades in this lipstick range but I chose five that I though would compliment me the most.

Danes moj mali Mark praznuje svoj prvi rojstni dan. Da, rojen je bil na prvi april – ko sva po njegovem rojstvu s ponosnim očkom naokrog pošiljala sporočila, nama marsikdo ni verjel. V čast največjemu mejniku v njegovem dosedanjem življenju ti danes predstavljam 5 odtenkov iz nov Avon Mark Plump it linije šmink. V celoti linija obsega petnajst različnih odtenkov, sama pa sem jih izbrala pet, za katere se mi je zdelo, da bodo najbolj ustrezali moji polti.

First, let’s talk formula. I did a lot of swatching and came to the conclusion that I don’t own many lipsticks as creamy as these. They glide on your lips effortlessly without pulling or tugging. In the shades I chose, one coat is more then enough because of great pigmentation. The finish is creamy but not shiny. After a year of wearing matte lips, I really appreciate the creamy formula as it doesn’t dry out my lips – even more, I feel like it really nourishes them.

Najprej beseda ali dve o formuli. V iskanju podobnih odtenkov sem naredila ogromno razmazov šmink v svoji zbirki in ugotovila, da jih je le malo tako lepo kremastih, kot so Marki. Na ustnice se nanesejo povsem enostavno, brez zatikanja in vlečenja. Pri odtenkih, ki sem jih izbrala sama, je en hiter nanos povsem dovolj, saj je pigmentacija izvrstna. Zaključek je kremast, vendar ne sijoč. Po tem, ko sem celo leto nosila skoraj izključno mat šminke, je mojim ustnicam všeč tudi, da jih ne izsuši. Še več – lahko bi rekla, da je šminka celo malce negovalna.

On my lips, they last about four hours if I’m not eating or drinking much. They do transfer with touch as most normal lipsticks do. What I love the most about this formula is the fact that it fades evenly all over the lip – you don’t get the »ring« as with drier formulas.

Na mojih ustnicah so Mark šminke obstale približno štiri ure, v kolikor ta čas nisem preveč jedla ali pila. Z dotikom se prenesejo, enako, kot to velja za vse standardne šminke. Zelo všeč mi je, da ta formula enakomerno bledi in mi ne pusti samo praznega »krogca« sredi ustnic, kot je to običajno za bolj suhe formule.

As with many other lipsticks, I was worried about the exaggerated scent and taste, but it’s pleasantly fruity and actually reminds me of some candy, but I cannot remember the brand for the life of me.

Kot je pri meni že običajno, me je nekoliko skrbel izrazit vonj in okus, vendar pa je v tem primeru prijetno saden. Spominja me na neko sladkarijo, vendar pa se žal na noben način ne morem spomniti, katero.

 

Cantaloupe is a nice warm peach color. If your complexion is dark, this probably wouldn’t work the best for you, but it looks pretty with lighter complexion.

Cantaloupe oziroma po slovensko melona je tople breskove barve. Če si temnejše polti, bi morda ta odtenek na tebi izgledal nekoliko nenavadno, zelo lep pa je na svetli polti.

Divine Wine is my favorite out of the range. It’s a lighter mauve color and a perfect everyday lip for me.

Divine Wine je moj najljubši odtenek v celotni liniji. Gre za svetlejšo vijolično barvo s plavim podtonom –  zame perfekten primer odtenka, ki ga lahko nosim čisto vsak dan.

Rose Kisses is a light pink shade that is really easy to wear. I was expecting it to be sheerer, but it’s very reasonably pigmented.

Rose Kisses je svetlo roza odtenek, ki ga je res enostavno nositi. Pričakovala sem bolj prosojen odtenek, vendar pa je pigmentacija tudi pri tem odtenku super.

Reddy to go made me think that it will be a red lipstick (red…reddy…), but it’s actually a bright fuchsia. These kind of shades usually look horrible on me but this color has enough blue undertone that I can pull it off.

Reddy to go mi je z imenom dal misliti, da bo svetlo rdeče barve, vendar pa gre v resnici za odtenek fuksije. Takšni odtenki običajno na meni izgledajo grozno, vendar pa ima ta dovolj plavega podtona, da ga lahko nosim tudi sama.

Uptown Pink is a dark pink that I’ll mostly be wearing in the summer. I haven’t got anything like it in my collection so I was excited about a new addition to my color range.

Uptown Pink je temnejša roza barva, ki bo najprimernejša za poletje. Takšnega odtenka v svoji kolekciji še nimam in sem ta odtenek z navdušenjem dodala v svojo zbirko.

Regular price of each lipstick is over 8 €, but you can currently get them in special promotion for 3,90 € each. The design of the bullets is absolutely beautiful in my opinion – they look spectacular on my vanity and they are a beauty blogger’s fantasy to photograph.

Redna cena vsake od teh šmink je preko 8 €, trenutno pa jih lahko dobiš v posebni promociji že za 3,90€. Dizajn šmink je čudovit – prekrasno izgledajo na  moji omarici, več kot enostavne pa so tudi za ustvarjanje prekrasnih fotografij.

Out of all the Avon lipstick formulations I’ve tried so far, these are absolutely my favorite. Reči moram, da je formula Avon Mark šmink moja najljubša izmed vseh, ki sem jih preizkusila pri Avonu. Drugih odtenkov ne bom naročila, saj mi jih pet popolnoma zadošča, v kolikor pa te zanimajo drugi izdelki iz linije, lahko oceno maskare prebereš *tu* in oceno primerja *tu*. Prav tako mi lahko sporočiš tudi druge izdelke, za katere bi te zanimala ocena. Do naslednjič, ostani čudovita!

Which primer to use? ***** Kateri primer je pravi zame?

Last week, I wrote an extensive post about my pre-foundation skincare routine and mentioned a few primers that help me set up a good base for the rest of my make-up. Since I often get asked about what primer I consider the best (and since I haven’t written a long post about my primers since 2015), I though this would be a good opportunity to show you what I’m currently using.

Prejšnji teden sem napisala dolgo objavo o moji rutini pred nanosom tekoče podlage in že v njej omenila nekaj primerjev, ki mi pomagajo pripraviti kožo za nanos podlage. Ker me bralke pogosto sprašujete, kateri primer se mi zdi najboljši (in tudi ker bolj odločno o temi primerjev nisem pisala že vse od leta 2015), bom to priložnost izkoristila, da ti predstavim primerje, ki jih trenutno uporabljam.

My skin is normal with dry zones, some enlarged pores on my T-zone and some redness around my nose and between my eyebrows. I choose primers according to my problems  – and you should do the same. Please, take a look at the pre-foundation routine post  for more information on that since I don’t want to repeat myself. Remember – different primers work in different ways so you need to choose yours carefully – do you need filling of the pores, blurring of wrinkles, some color correcting or simply want your make-up to last longer?

Moja koža je normalna z nekaj suhimi točkami, povečanimi porami na T-zoni in z nekaj rdečice okrog nosu in med obrvmi. Primerje tako izbiram glede na težave svoje kože, enako pa priporočam tudi tebi. Prosim, preberi si mojo objavo o rutini pred nanosom tekoče podlage (najdeš jo *tu*), saj je že v njej zapisanih kar nekaj pomembnih informacij, ki jih danes ne bi ponavljala. Različni primerji delujejo na različne načine – ali potrebuješ zapolniti pore, zabrisati gubice, popraviti kakšno barvno nepravilnost ali želiš le, da bi tvoja tekoča podlaga na obrazu ostala lepa dlje časa?

Generally speaking in terms of your skin type – if your skin is dry, it will probably handle silicone primers well. Silicones will help you get a more even application of the liquid foundation and prevent caking in the dry areas. You should stay away from mattifying primers which will only make the situation worse. On the other hand, silicone based primers don’t perform well on oily skin since they tend to slide around and will not help your make-up stay on longer. With oily skin, you’re better off with a mattifying prime that will blur out the imperfections and help your make-up stay on longer. This is the general rule of thumb. There are so many primers in the market (with and without SPF, mattifying, color correcting,  illuminating, …) that you’ll surely find the one that will be perfect for your skin.

Če govoriva povsem na splošno, potem za izbiro primerja veljajo določene zakonitosti. Če imaš suho kožo, bodo verjetno za tebe bolje delovali silikonski primerji. Te ti bodo pomagali ustvariti lepo osnovo za nanos tekoče podlage in bodo tej preprečili, da bi se nabirala na bolj suhih delih tvojega obraza. Izogibaj se matirnih primerjev, ki bodo tvoje težave s suho kožo še poudarili. Po drugi strani silikonski primerji po navadi niso najboljši za mastno kožo, saj drsijo po obrazu in bo tekoča podlaga drsela skupaj z njimi. Če imaš mastno kožo, bi ti priporočala, da izbereš matirni primer, ki bo prav tako zabrisal nepravilnosti in poskrbel za daljšo obstojnost tekoče podlage. Vendar pa so to le splošna pravila – na trgu je toliko primerjev (z in brez SPF, matirni, z barvnimi korekcijami, osvetljevalni, …), da boš gotovo našla tistega, ki je najboljši za tvojo kožo.

Let’s start off with the newest addition to the family, the Mark Magix Face Primer from the new Avon Mark line. This is a good silicone based primer that will help you if you want to blur out imperfections on your skin and prepare it for liquid foundation. I like that it has no harsh smell and it absorbs very quickly. The texture is a bit funny, but once you get used to it, it’s not a problem. Negatives: I didn’t feel like it helped my make-up stay on longer which is true for most silicone primers, at least in my case. It also didn’t do enough  to fill in the largest pores which were still slightly visible after use. Available from Avon salesforce. 3/5.

Začniva z najnovejšim članom moje družine primerjev, Mark Magix Face Primerjem iz nove Avon Mark linije. Gre za dober silikonski primer, ki bo zabrisal nepravilnosti in kožo dobro pripravil za tekočo podlago. Všeč mi je, da nima močnega vonja in se zelo hitro vpije v kožo. Sama tekstura tekočine je nekoliko drugačna kot pri večini primerjev, ampak se nanjo ni težko navaditi. Pomanjkljivost: zdi se mi, da ni podaljšal obstojnosti za mojo tekočo podlago, kar pa pri meni velja za večino silikonskih primerjev. The second primer I’m currently using is the e.l.f. Poreless Face Primer. e.l.f. carries quite a few different primers and I’ve tried most of them. I like the texture which is silky smooth (again, this is a silicone based primer). For me, it evens out my complexion beautifully and really fills in my pores. It’s also the least expensive out of the bunch. Unfortunately, this is one of the foulest smelling beauty products I’ve ever come across which is why it’s hard for to to reach for it in the morning. Naslednji primer, ki ga trenutno uporabljam, je e.l.f. Poreless Face Primer. Znamka e.l.f. ima v svoji ponudbi kar nekaj primerjev, od katerih sem jih preizkusila že večino. Pri tem primerju mi je všeč tekstura (tudi tu gre za silikonski primer). Mojo kožo lepo poenoti in dobro zapolni moje pore. Je tudi najcenejši od vseh, ki ti jih predstavljam danes. Na žalost pa gre za enega najbolj smrdečih izdelkov, ki sem jih kadar koli preizkušala, zato se moram prav prisiliti, da ga zjutraj potegnem iz predala. Dostopen preko iHerb. 2/5.

Next I want to talk about the L’Oreal Infallible mattifying base. I fell in love with this in the spring but completely stopped using it in the summer because in the heat, my foundation was slipping off even without a silicone primer underneath. Lately, I started using it again in situations when I need my foundation to look great for the evening. In colder months, it lasts reasonably long and gives a semi-matte effect but doesn’t accentuate my dry spots. I would stay away if you have very dry skin, but other then that it would probably work fine for you. Available in drugstores (DM, Muller etc.). 4/5

Naslednji v moji zbirki je L’Oreal Infallible mattifying base. V ta primer sem se zaljubila spomladi, vendar pa ga praktično celo poletje v toplem vremenu nisem uporabljala, saj je tekoča podlaga že brez silikonskega primerja drsela okrog po mojem obrazu in je primer vse skupaj le še poslabšal. V hladnejših mesecih sem ga uporabljala predvsem takrat, ko sem želela, da moja podlaga krajše obdobje izgleda čudovito. Primer kožo delno matira, pri čemer ne poudari mojih suhih predelov. Ta primer ti odsvetujem, če imaš zelo suho kožo, v vseh nasprotnih primerih pa bo verjetno zate delal ok. Dostopen v drogerijah (DM, Muller itd.). 4/5

Last one of the bunch is the Etude House Baby Choux base in the shade Mint choux. It’s a color correcting primer which helps me reduce the redness I talked about previously. I like it in the summer months because it gives my skin a mattified effect so that I’m not shining like a lighthouse before lunchtime. It also boasts a SPF of 30 which is enough that you can get away without applying extra layer of protection. Negatives: it has a dry texture so it’s a bit more difficult to spread evenly across the face. But don’t worry about looking green in the face – once applied, it will turn into a while formula. Available from online stores that carry Korean cosmetics, such as Jolse. 4/5.

Zadnji primer, ki ga trenutno testiram in uporabljam, je Etude House Baby Choux Base v odtenku Mint Choux. Gre za primer, ki se osredotoča na barvno korekcijo in mi pomaga pri prekrivanju rdečice, ki sem jo omenila prej. Z veseljem ga uporabljam predvsem v poletnih mesecih, saj mojo kožo matira in mi pomaga, da se že pred časom kosila ne svetim kot svetilnik. Formula se ponaša tudi z SPF 30, kar je po mojem mnenju zadostna zaščita, da ne potrebujem še dodatnega sloja kreme za sončenje. Njegova največja pomanjkljivost je suha formula, zaradi česar je enakomeren nanos precej težak. Naj te zelena barva ne skrbi – v obraz ne boš zelena, saj se ob nanosu na rdečico primer obarva belo.
