Every time I bring home a new mascara, I can’t help myself not to open it and try it out immediately. Naturally that means that I have way too many open mascaras so I need to write such reviews quickly before they dry up. I never us a mascara for more than six months – I prefer to throw them away even sooner than that. By that time, some are completely dry and some still perfectly fine, but I don’t dare to put them near my eyes for hygienic reasons.

Vsakič, ko domov prinesem novo maskaro, si ne morem kaj, da je ne bi takoj odprla in preizkusila. Seveda imam potem odprtih čisto preveč, trepalnice pa le dvoje, kar pomeni, da moram tudi takšno oceno, kot jo bereš danes, napisati kaj hitro, preden se posušijo. Nobene maskare ne uporabljam več kot pol leta – raje jo zamenjam kakšen dan prej, kot kakšen kasneje. Nekatere se v tem času popolnoma posušijo, spet druge pa so še v izvrstnem stanju, vendar jih že iz higienskih razlogov nočem blizu svojih oči.

Today, I want to talk about six mascaras that I am currently using – ranking them from worst to best. I only applied one layer with each mascara and didn’t curl my lashes beforehand. I also want to mention that my lashes are quite long so I’m usually looking for a mascara that will add volume and not too much length.

V današnjem zapisu ti predstavljam šest maskar, ki jih uporabljam trenutno – rangirala sem jih od najslabše do najboljše, pri vsaki pa sem nanesla samo en sloj in prej trepalnic nisem uvihala s kleščami. Omenim naj še, da imam dolge trepalnice, zato običajno iščem maskaro, ki bi jim dodala volumen in ne nujno preveč dolžine.

6. Avon Big&Multiplied Volume Mascara

I was not impressed with this mascara at all. It was very wet to begin with and it took a good two weeks for the formula to thicken up. The brush has very dense bristles so I expected it to catch each lash and coat it but it didn’t deposit nearly enough product on my lashes. I would say it added average length and not enough volume to satisfy my expetations. It didn’t flake at all, but that’s the only positive thing I can say about it.

Ta maskara me nikakor ni navdušila. Na začetku je bila zelo mokra in trajalo je kar kakšna dva tedna, da se je malo zgostila. Krtačka ima zelo gosto posejane ščetine, zaradi česar bi pričakovala, da bo lepo zajela vsako trepalnico posebej in nanjo nanesla barvo, vendar pa na trepalnicah po nanosu ni ostalo toliko barve, kot bi pričakovala. Rekla bi, da je dodala povprečno dolžino in vsekakor čisto premalo volumna. Ob nošenju s trepalnic tekom dneva koščki niso odpadali in se nabirali pod očmi, kar pa je pravzaprav njen edini plus.

5. Trend It Up Eyedorable Mascara (Volume Ultra Black)

I was quite impressed with many products from the new Trend It Up line (review *here*) but I can’t say the same for this mascara. The brush is very similar to the Avon mascara but in this case, the bristles are placed more evenly and not scattered around like with Avon. As name promises, the formula is super black which is a big plus in my book. Unfortunately, this mascara did not deliver on volume as well as it did with adding length. Plus: unlike most mascaras which have a shelf life of three months, Trend It Up says you can use this mascara for six months after opening.

Kar nekaj izdelkov nove Trend It Up linije me je precej navdušilo (ocena *tu*), vendar pa žal za to maskaro tega ne morem trditi. Krtačka je podobna Avonovi, vendar so ščetine razporejene bolj enakomerno, ne “razmetane”, kot pri Avonovi maskari. Kot obljublja že ime, je barva te maskare res zelo temno črna, kar je v moji knjigi velik plus. Na žalost je tudi ta maskara dobro delovala pri podaljševanju trepalnic, ni pa dodala obljubljenega volumna, zato ji več kot petega mesta ne morem pripisati. Plus: za razliko od večine maskar, pri katerih je priporočena uporaba tri mesece, Trend It Up za to maskaro obljublja kakovost do pol leta po odprtju.

4. Catrice Ultimate Lash Multimizer Volume Mascara (waterproof)

I don’t know who comes up with names for these mascaras but I swear they’re getting longer each year. I got this mascara with a magazine so my expectations were low, to say the least. I must say that I procrastinated using it once I opened it and saw the brush shape since I never had any good experience with such brush designs. Nevertheless, this mascara did an OK job, I wouldn’t mind leaving the house with my lashes looking like that. It performed worse with multiple layers because the formula thickened at the tops of lashes and weighed them down. It’s not the best mascara I’ve recently tried from Catrice – check out the review of Rock Couture Extreme Volume mascara *here*.

Ne vem, kdo si izmišlja imena za maskare, vendar pa prisežem, da so imena iz leta v leto daljša. To maskaro sem dobila zraven revije, zato moja pričakovanja niso bila previsoka. Moram reči, da sem s prvo uporabo kar nekaj časa odlašala po tem, ko sem videla krtačko, saj s takšno obliko krtačke še nisem imela dobrih izkušenj. Vseeno je maskara svoje delo opravila zadovoljivo – s takšnimi trepalnicami bi brez težav zapustila hišo. Nekoliko slabše se je odrezala, kadar sem nanesla več slojev, saj se je formula začela nabirati na vrhu trepalnic in jih obtežila. Ne gre za najboljšo maskaro, kar sem jih v zadnjem času preizkusila pri Catrice – oceno Rock Couture Extreme Volume maskare si lahko prebereš *tu*.

3. Avon Mark Spectralash Mascara

It was hard for me too choose only one mascara from the new line, but I ended up choosing this one since the name suggested “spectacular” lashes. This is the first time I ever saw a mascara with a dispenser where you can choose between three levels of volume. I must say that I don’t understand the concept very well – I think that we all want mega volume (or not, please correct me if I’m wrong?) and besides that, I didn’t notice any visible changes when I used the mascara on different “volume settings”. I can say that this mascara is very good despite the average looking brush – it lifts the lashes, gives them a nice curl and adds lots of volume. The only minus about this mascara is the flaking – I always find quite a few crumbles under my eyes at the end of the day.

Pri novi liniji sem se težko odločila za eno maskaro, na koncu sem izbrala to, saj mi je ime sugeriralo “spektakularne” trepalnice. Prvič sem na dnu maskare zasledila gumb za nastavljiv volumen s tremi stopnjami. Sama sicer tega ne razumem najbolje, ker verjetno vse želimo velik volumen (ali se motim?), pa tudi bistvene razlike ob uporabi na različnih nastavitvah nisem opazila. Na splošno lahko rečem, da gre za zelo dobro maskaro, ki kljub zelo povprečni krtački dobro opravi svoje delo – trepalnice dvigne, lepo uviha in jim doda veliko volumna. Edini minus pri tej maskari je slabša obstojnost, saj sem kar nekaj koščkov maskare ob koncu dneva našla pod očmi.

2. Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

Until quite recently, this used to be my favorite mascara of all times. Then, I received the full size from a friend for new year – I always used to buy the travel size myself. I don’t know if I’m wrong but it seems that the formula is a bit different, a bit more dry, to be exact. It’s still a great mascara that gives my lashes plently of volume, but it tends to clinge on them and make them heavier which means that they lose the curl quicker. The next time I’ll probably buy the travel size again, since I never had these problems with it and got tons of compliments about my lashes.

Do pred kratkim je bila to moja najljubša maskara vseh časov. Potem pa sem jo za novo leto od prijateljice prvič prejela v normalni velikosti, sama sem namreč prej vedno kupovala potovalno velikost. Ne vem zakaj, ampak zdi se mi, da se formula nekoliko razlikuje in da je ta bolj suha, kot pri potovalnih velikostih. Še vedno gre za odlično maskaro, ki mojim trepalnicam podari ogromno volumna, vendar pa se nekako obesi na njih in jih naredi težje, zaradi česar manj časa obdržijo privihanost. Ko jo bom kupovala naslednjič, bom spet izbrala mini verzijo, s katero teh težav nisem imela nikoli, dobila pa ogromno komplimentov na račun svojih trepalnic.

1. Sleek Full Fat Lash Mascara

I often neglect Sleek in my reviews even though I use tons of their products. If I had to use one mascara for the rest of my life, this is the one I’d choose. I bought it for the name, of course, and I must say that I was kind of intimidated by the shape of the brush which was totally unnecessary. The upper part is wider and helps curl the upper lashes but even more importantly, it’s extremely handy for bottom lashes because it’s much more precise. It combs the lashes, curls them, gives them plently of volume and this result lasts all day, not only a couple of hours. In the under 10€ range, it’s the best mascara I’ve ever used and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Sleek je znamka, ki jo pogosto prezrem v ocenah, kljub temu, da uporabljam cel kup njihovih izdelkov. Če bi morala celo življenje uporabljati samo še eno maskaro, bi izbrala to. Kupila sem jo seveda zaradi imena, tudi tu pa me je oblika krtačke kar malo prestrašila – a brez potrebe. Zgornji del, ki je nekoliko razširjen, lepo uviha zgornje trepalnice, izjemnno priročen pa je tudi za spodnje, saj omogoča lažji nanos. Trepalnice razščeše, uviha, jim podari zvrhano mero volumna, vse od našetega pa zdrži cel dan, ne le nekaj ur. V razredu pod 10 € je to najboljša maskara, kar sem jih kdajkoli preizkusila in jo nadvse toplo priporočam.

So these are the mascaras I tested out for you – now I can throw some away since they are just about ready to go. I must apologize for the difference in the photos of the lashes, but try to understand that it took me a good twenty minutes to get ready for each photo (mascara off, washing the area, applying foundation, concealer and the next mascara) and the daylight was changing rapidly on that particular day. My eyes were pretty sore for the rest of the day so I hope that it was worth it and you find this post interesting and helpful. To so torej maskare, ki sem jih preizkusila zate – nekaj od teh bo sedaj romalo v smeti, saj se jim življenjska doba vsekakor izteka. Opravičiti se ti moram še za razliko v fotografijah dejanskih trepalnic, vendar moraš razumeti, da je med eno in drugo fotografijo preteklo približno dvajset minut (prejšnja maskara dol, oprati predel okrog oči, nanos tekoče podlage, nanos korektorja pod oči, nanos nove maskare), zato se je tudi svetloba zelo spreminjala. Moje oči na koncu dneva vsekakor niso bile zadovoljne z mano, saj so bile precej vnete od vsega hudega, zato upam, da ti je bila objava zanimiva in ti bo v pomoč ob naslednjem nakupu. I am really happy with the recent shift in the beauty circles – we stopped talking about high-coverage foundations and heavy make-up and started talking about how to best achieve natural and healthy looking skin. This naturally means that our skin needs a bit more TLC in order to still look good without caking on the foundation. Lately, I’ve been enjoying light coverage foundations and I must say that I am over the matte trend. I want my skin to look fresh and natural. Since I often get asked how I achieve this, I’d like to introduce you to my steps before applying liquid foundation.

Veseli me, da se v zadnjem času v lepotnih krogih pogovor premika od tega, katera tekoča podlaga ima najboljšo prekrivnost in od želje po težkem ličenju k temu, da si želimo naravnega in zdravega videza kože. Seveda to pomeni, da je potrebno za kožo skrbeti, saj le tako lahko z manjšo prekrivnostjo dosežemo super rezultat. Sama se zadnje čase nagibam k podlagam z lahko prekrivnostjo in priznati moram, da me je tudi mat trend minil – želim, da moja koža izgleda naravno in sveže. Ker me pogosto sprašujete, kako to dosežem, vam danes predstavljam moje korake pred nanosom tekoče podlage.

Everything starts with a morning cleanse which includes a liquid gel cleanser (like Mirati, review *here*), a toner (like Bocassy, review *here*) and hialuronic gel. Now, my skin is ready to start with the pre-foundation routine. First, I need to moisturize my skin really well so I use three different products. First is the Melvita damaske rose floral water which I spray on my face a couple of times. Besides the lovely smell that really wakes me up in the morning, this is the first step of hydration. I follow up with some sun protection – at the moment, I’m finishing up the Avon moisturizing face cream with SPF 30. Protection against the sun is necessary all year long, not only in the summer months so it’s necessary that you include a product with a high SPF factor (in my opinion, factor 10 from many liquid foundation formulations just doesn’t cut it). Since I feel that Avon cream is somewhat lacking in the moisturizing bit, I end up the first step with the Yves Rocher Derma Care daily moisturizer which is also appropriate for sensitive skin. I give special attention to the under-eye area which prevents my concealer from caking later on. I give my skin a few minutes to soak everything in while I finish up getting dressed and style my hair.

Seveda se vse začne z jutranjim čiščenjem, ki ga opravim s kakšnim tekočim gelom (na primer Mirati, oceno si lahko prebereš *tu*), po tem pa nanesem tonik (na primer Bocassy, ocena *tu*) ter hialuronski gel. Sedaj je koža pripravljena, da lahko začnem rutino pred nanosom tekoče podlage. Prvi korak je vlaženje, ki ga opravim v treh fazah – začnem z Melvita cvetno vodico iz organske vrtnice, ki jo nekajkrat popršim po celem obrazu. Poleg super dišečega vonja, ki me še malo prebudi, je to prva faza vlaženja kože. Nadaljujem z zaščito pred soncem – trenutno je to Avonova vlažilna krema z SPF 30. Zaščita kože je nujna skozi celo leto, ne samo v poletnih mesecih, zato je potrebno v rutino vključiti vsaj en izdelek z dobrim SPF faktorjem (po mojem mnenju je faktor 10, s katerim se ponaša večina tekočih podlag, absolutno premalo). Ker se mi zdi Avonova vlažilna krema premalo hidratantna, na koncu nanesem še Yves Rocher Derma Care dnevno hranilno kremo, ki je primerna tudi za občutljivo kožo. Še posebej dobro navlažim tudi predel okrog oči, kar prepreči gubanje korektorja, ki ga bom nanesla kasneje. Nato koži privoščim nekaj minut, da vse vsrka vase, medtem pa se običajno do konca oblečem in uredim lase.

I want to emphasize that all of the following steps work on my skin which is well hydrated but I do struggle with some dry areas and some redness. I apply my products very precisely so I can target the problem areas and not put too many layers on my skin which would consequently make my foundation slide around. You need to take a good look at your skin, find your problems and then apply this particular routine to your face as you see fit. As you can see from the photo (which is not photoshopped at all, but I reduced the level of brightness so you can see my problems even better – a small applause is appreciated), the difference my routine makes is really noticeable.

Poudarila bi, da so vsi naslednji koraki prilagojeni moji koži, ki je sicer kar dobro navlažena, imam pa nekaj suhih predelov in nekaj rdečice. Zato zelo natančno nanašam izdelke, ki se bojujejo proti mojim težavam, saj ne želim preveč plasti na svojem obrazu, ker bi tudi tekoča podlaga posledično drsela naokrog in zdržala veliko manj časa. Sama zase moraš torej razmisliti in si ogledati svojo kožo, da boš lahko rutino, ki ti jo predstavljam, najbolje prenesla v svoj vsakdan. Kot lahko vidiš s fotografije (ki je nisem nič popravljala, samo zmanjšala sem svetlobo, da lahko še bolje vidiš nepravilnosti – prosim za majhen aplavz za pogum), je razlika pred in po rutini res opazna.

I start by covering my enlarged pores and creating a smooth canvas which will make foundation application much easier. I target my pores with Catrice Prime and Fine Smoothing refiner which fills up and blurs my pores. I apply The Ordinary High-adherence silicone primer to the rest of my face. Začnem s prekrivanjem razširjenih por in ustvarjanjem gladke podlage, ki mi kasneje omogoči lep nanos tekoče podlage. Na področja, kjer imam razširjene pore, nanesem Catrice Prime and Fine Smoothing refiner, ki moje pore zapolni in jih lepo zabriše. Na preostanek obraza, kjer težav s porami, nanesem The Ordinary High-adherence silikonski primer, ki s tanko plastjo ustvari gladko in nežno kožo – celotno oceno si lahko prebereš *tu*.

Last two steps are intended for covering up the last imperfections and making sure that my skin looks healthy and glowing. I use Etude House Baby Choux base – Mint Choux primer to neutralize the redness between my eyebrows, around my nose and on the chin. Mint Choux has a green tint to it so it neutralizes the red undertone, but you can choose the color that will help your particular imperfections. There are many color correctiong products on the market right now. Last but not least, I apply Artdeco Strobing Fluid to the areas where I want to add some natural glow to the skin – on my cheekbones, above my eyebrows and on the bridge of the nose. It took me some time to figure out how best to use the strobing fluid. It’s not a highlighter since it doesn’t contain any shimmery pigment, but only gives a subtle, barely noticeable glow to the skin.

Ostaneta le še zadnja dva koraka, v katerih prekrivam zadnje nepravilnosti in tudi že poskrbim, da bo moja koža res svetleča in zdrava. Z Etude House Baby Choux Base – Mint Choux primerjem nevtraliziram rdečico, ki se mi pojavi med obrvmi, okrog nosu in na bradi. Mint Choux je zelene barve, zato dobro nevtralizira rdeče podtone, seveda pa se lahko glede na svoje težave odločiš tudi za drugo barvo. Tudi na slovenskem trgu je sedaj takšnih izdelkov že zelo veliko. Nazadnje Artdeco Strobing Fluid nanesem na področja, kjer želim svoji koži dodati nekaj naravnega sijaja – na ličnice, nad obrvi ter vzdolž nosu. Potrebovala sem kar nekaj časa, da sem ugotovila, kako ta strobing fluid najbolje deluje zame – ne gre namreč za osvetljevalec, saj ne vsebuje svetlečih pigmentov, ampak samo za nežno žarečo tekočino, ki je na koži komaj opazna.

The entire routine takes up between 5 to 10 minutes, largely depending on how much time I can afford to the moisturizers from step one to really soak into the skin. Every single fundation I have tried works better on a skin that is well prepped, it applies easier and more evenly, doesn’t stick to dry patches, doesn’t slide off the face and doesn’t look unnatural. You will achieve the best result by using fresh, light foundations – the results won’t be as good with matte formula. Celotna rutina mi vzame med 5 in 10 minut, odvisno predvsem od tega, koliko časa lahko namenim vlažilcem iz prvega dela, da se dobro vpijejo v kožo. Prav vsaka tekoča podlaga, ki sem jo preizkusila, se na tako pripravljeni koži obnaša lepše, saj se nanese lažje in bolj enakomerno, ne oprime se suhih predelov, ne zdrsi z obraza in ne izgleda nenaravno. Seveda boš najboljši učinek dosegla z lažjimi, svežimi podlagami – z mat podlago rezultat ne bo tako dober. Zadnje čase sama veliko uporabljam Rimmel Fresher Skin tekočo podlago – za oceno te pošiljam k Simoni na blog Beauty of a Lemon, kjer si lahko delovanje podlage ogledaš bolj natančno.

A while ago I attended an event hosted by Bell Cosmetics in order to show us some new goodies that were released in the past few months. In the end, I got to choose three products to take home with me and today, I want to share my thoughts and opinions with you. Bell Cosmetics are different because they are formulated with the assistance of dermatologists and ophthalmologists, meaning they are also appropriate for people with sensitive skin and eyes. None of their products are tested on animals.

I also want to take this opportunity to say the following: yes, the products in the photos are used. I don’t see the point in taking photos of brand new products – I want you to see that I really use these products, how they look like when they’re used and that I am giving you my honest user opinion. With that being said, let’s jump straight into it.

Pred nekaj meseci sem se udeležila dogodka Bell Hypoallergenic, na katerem so slovenskim lepotnim blogerkam predstavili nove izdelke, ki so na trg prišli v zadnjem času. Na koncu dogodka sem si lahko izbrala tri izdelke, danes pa želim s tabo deliti svoje mnenje o njih. Bell Cosmetics je kar posebna znamka, saj so formule dekorativne kozmetike razvite v sodelovanju z dermatologi in oftamologi, kar pomeni, da so primerni tudi za ljudi z občutljivo kožo in očmi. Izdelki niso testirani na živalih.

To priložnost bom izkoristila tudi za naslednje pojasnilo: ja, izdelki na fotografijah so bili uporabljani. Ne vidim razloga, da bi fotografirala popolnoma lepe, nove izdelke – želim, da vidiš, da jih uporabljam, kako izdelki izgledajo, ko so že uporabljani in da lahko na podlagi tega lažje razumeš mojo uporabniško izkušnjo. Tako, zdaj pa lahko začneva z oceno.

First, a few words about the Mat&Soft foundation (9,90€, shade 01 – light beige). It comes in a bottle with a pump which I appreciate because I don’t like touching the product in the packaging. I need two pumps for my entire face. The formulation certainly gives you a mat finish. At first, I was a bit disappointed in the coverage (which is quite light), but I quickly learned that it can be easily built up to medium coverage. If I’m going for a matte finish, I also pack on the mat powder after foundation, so the skin ends up looking flawless. I think that it wouldn’t work great for very dry skin, but other than that – if you’re looking for a light matte foundation, I would say try this one out. Downside: it only comes in three different shades.

Najprej nekaj besed o Mat&Soft tekoči podlagi (9,90€, odtenek 01 – light beige). Všeč mi je steklenička s pumpico, saj se ne maram dotikati produkta, dokler je v embalaži. Za svoj obraz porabim dve pumpici izdelka. Podlaga obljublja mat zaključek in to obljubo tudi izpolni. Na začetku sem bila nekoliko razočarana nad rahlo prekrivnostjo, vendar pa sem hitro ugotovila, da se lahko prekrivnost nadgradi z več sloji. Če želim popoln mat zaključek, na podlago nanesem še mat puder, po čemer koža izgleda čudovito. Mislim, da ta tekoča podlaga ni najbolj primerna za suho kožo, sicer pa bi ti jo priporočila, v kolikor iščeš mat podlago z lahno do srednjo prekrivnostjo. Minus? Essence has been bringing it lately – really following the latest trends while at the same time making sure that the quality of the products remains solid. And as I mention every single time – with Essence, you really can’t beat the price. I think that the latest SS 2017 release got me more excited than any other I’ve seen before. I noticed a new (and full!) stand in Muller and of course grabbed a couple of products and the next day, Essence Slovenia kindly sent me a couple of bits and pieces as well. Essence zadnje čase res pozitivno preseneča – sledijo najnovejšim trendom, obenem pa še vedno skrbijo za dobro kakovost izdelkov. Poleg tega je pri znamki Essence pomembna tudi cenovna dostopnost. Mislim, da se še nobene spremembe pri Essence nisem tako razveselila kot nove linije pomlad/poletje 2017. Novo (in dobro založeno!) stojalo sem opazila v Mullerju in hitro izbrala nekaj izdelkov, naslednji dan pa sem od Essence Slovenija prejela še paketek z nekaj novostmi. Essence Instant Matt super long-lasting foundation (4,40€, shade Ivory) unfortunately isn’t for me. It really is a mattifying foundation which doesn’t sit well with my dry patches. I tried to wear it with a silicone primer but unfortunately it caked really badly everywhere where my skin is dry. It’s a medium coverage finish and available in three colors – Ivory (rose undertone), Sand (warm undertone) and Vanilla (dark). I would recommend this if you have oily skin and need something to keep that in check.

Essence Instant Matt super long-lasting foundation (4,40€, odtenek Ivory) je tekoča podlaga, ki pa na žalost ni primerna za mene. Ima srednjo prekrivnost in res lep mat zaključek, vendar pa se je meni prijela na suhe predele obraza in se tam vidno zgostila. Priporočam ti jo, v kolikor imaš mastno kožo in želiš to težavo odpraviti. Podlaga je na razpolago samo v treh barvah – Ivory (roza podton), Sand (rumen, topel podton) in Vanilla (temnejši odtenek).

First empties in 2017! I’ve been stacking up the empty products in a closet and only yesterday I realized that the little bag was overflowing. I know I promised the Maybelline Cushion Foundation review for this week – but we’ll need a bit of sun in this gloomy Ljubljana so I can take some good photos. Prva objava o porabljenih izdelkih v letu 2017! Vse izdelke sem hranila v omari in šele včeraj sem ugotovila, da je vrečka že čisto polna. Vem, da sem za ta teden obljubila tudi oceno Maybelline Cushion Foundation, ampak za dobre fotografije bo moralo v Ljubljani posijati vsaj malo sonca. Zato upam, da boš lažje počakala med tem, ko prebiraš ocene mojih “lepotnih smeti”.

I’ve been really good with my skincare lately – so good in fact, that I’ve used up quite a few of my favorite products. The Caudalie Micellar Cleansing water (organic grape water and chamomile) isn’t strong enough to remove all my make-up so I used it for second cleaning after removing most of the make-up from my face already. I really enjoyed the dispenser and the nice, soft smell. Caudalie is a natural, eco friendly brand that I really appreciate. I would buy it again. Next up is one of my favorite cleansing milks ever – La Bri floral cleansing milk. I already did a review so read more about it *here* – but I can honestly say that it’s one of the best skin products I’ve ever used in my life. The same goes for Bocassy Clean&Tone tonic (with aloe vera, green tea and marigold – read a full review *here*). This tonic has a funny smell and color, but I felt like it really hydrated and replenished my skin. Another product I’d definitely repurchase. Last but not least, I used up the Ombia hyaluron activator. I must say that I’ve noticed a definite improvement in my skin after a couple of weeks – there was definitely fewer dry patches than before. I’ve now switched to hyaluronic gel from Ombia and I’ll report on that soon.

Zadnje čase se res trudim za svojo kožo in posledično tudi izdelke porabljam veliko hitreje. Caudalie Micelarna čistilna vodica (z organsko grozdno vodo in kamilico) sicer ni bila dovolj močna, da bi odstranila ves moj make-up, zato sem jo uporabljala kot drugi korak po odstranitvi večine ličil. Všeč mi je priročno pakiranje in nežen, blag vonj. Caudalie je naravna, okolju prijazna znamka in to cenim, zato bi izdelek spet kupila. La Bri cvetilno čistilno mleko je eden mojih najljubših izdelkov za nego kože vseh časov. Kratko oceno sem že napisala in jo lahko prebereš *tukaj*, na kratko pa lahko rečem, da gre res za odličen izdelek. Enako velja za Bocassy Clean&Tone tonik (z aloe vero, zelenim čajem in ognjičem – celotna ocena te čaka *tukaj*). Ta tonik ima nekoliko hecno barvo in vonj, vendar pa se mi je zdelo, da je res lepo nahranil in obnovil mojo kožo. Tudi to je izdelek, ki ga bom ponovno kupila. Nenazadnje se je med porabljenimi znašel tudi Ombia aktivator hialuronske kisline. Že po nekaj tednih uporabe sem opazila očitno razliko, saj je bilo na moji koži manj suhih predelov kot običajno. Sedaj sem ga zamenjala za Ombia hialuronski gel, o katerem bom več napisala ob drugi priložnosti.

I’ve really been into foaming shower gels recently and I used up two of them in the past months – Ritual Zensation and Artdeco Senses Asian Spa. I like them because I need a really tiny amount and they do all the work for me, dispensing soft foam directly into my hands. I would have liked the Senses Spa gel even more if I could get all of the product out of it (especially regarding the price!) – I think there’s at least fifth remaining in there but pressing it doesn’t work anymore. Both of these gels smelled fantastic, but I’ll probably look for something new to try out. Stenders Salt Scrub (Rose) was a semi-gentle salt peel with pieces of rose in it. I liked using it a lot but I must say that it left a right mess in the bath tub every time – it’s very oily and the pieces of roses stuck everywhere. I also used it way past its expiration date which is only 3 months after opening – this makes me think that it really is a natural product. I didn’t have the same issues with Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Body scrub-gelee which is very soft, but more importantly, smells like a freshly squeezed grapefruit. If I ever find it again, I’ll definitely repurchase it. I wrote a bit about Just intimate gel *here* already, but I’ll repeat myself – it’s the only gel for intimate care I’ll ever use because it’s gentle and doesn’t have any weird chemicals in it. I definitely won’t repurchase the Stenders Melon shower gel which was OK as far as shower gels go, but the fruity smell was way to overpowering for me.

Peneči geli za prhanje bodo očitno postali moja šibkost, saj sem v zadnjih dveh mesecih porabila kar dva –Rituals Zensation in Senses Asian Spa znamke Artdeco. Všeč mi je, ker potrebujem res majhno količino, hkrati pa se mi ni treba truditi, ampak mi kar embalaža sama postreže s peno. Po drugi strani bi mi bilo predvsem pri Senses gelu všeč, če bi ven dobila vse, kar je v steklenički – občutek imam namreč, da je notri ostala kakšna petina izdelka. Oba gela sta imela prijeten vonj, vendar pa bom verjetno sedaj poiskala še kakšen drug peneči gel za prhanje. Stenders Salt Scrub (Vrtnica) je srednje nežen solni piling s koščki vrtnice, ki sem ga z veseljem uporabljala, moram pa reči, da je v tušu pustil za sabo pravo razdejanje, saj je zelo masten in koščki so bili prilepljeni povsod. Vsekakor sem ga uporabljala veliko predolgo, saj je njegov rok po odprtju samo tri mesece, kar mi da misliti, da gre res za dober, naraven proizvod. Po drugi strani te težave nisem imela s Pink Grapefruit body scrub-gelee znamke Body Shop. Sam piling s tem izdelkom je bil res nežen, ampak mislim, da vonj ne bi pustil ravnodušne nobene ženske, saj diši ravno tako, kot sveže prerezana grenivka. Če ga bom še kje zasledila, ga bom z veseljem kupila. O intimnem gelu Just sem že pisala *tu* – je edini, ki ga uporabljam, saj se mi zdi res nežen in primeren za intimno nego, zato ga bom še kupila. Vsekakor pa ne bom ponovila nakupa Stenders Melon gela za prhanje, ki je bil sicer kot gel za tuširanje čisto uporaben, vendar mi je bil njegov vonj veliko presladek, tudi v poletnih dneh, kaj šele zdaj pozimi.
